Spacious and comfortable daypack for long mountain days
The newly redesigned Talon 44 gives you the best of both worlds. It’s a roomy men’s daypack that is ready for any three-season mountain trip, with the comfort and fit of an expedition pack. That means an adjustable torso length, plus breathable back panels, a padded hip belt and an injection-moulded framesheet. Three external mesh pockets give you plenty of easy-access space, including a nice big one on the front that’s perfect for keeping wet waterproofs apart from the rest of your kit. You’ve also got attachment points for walking poles, plus a couple of zipped compartments on the waist belt for odds and ends. In common with the rest of Osprey’s Talon packs, it’s also compatible with a hydration system, and boasts well-considered features like a non-scratch pocket for your sunnies and phone.
The Osprey story started in California in the 1970s, with one man, a sewing machine and a vision to make the world’s best outdoor packs. Today, it’s one of the most recognisable rucksack brands.
All of Osprey's packs share the same twin hallmarks of fit and comfort. In fact, Osprey was an early adopter of breathable mesh, ergonomic hip-belts and packs designed specifically to fit women. Breathable back panels are still a feature of all their packs, and all except their most lightweight bags come with adjustable back-lengths for a perfect fit.
And in a world where outdoor enthusiasts are increasingly conscious of our environmental impact, many Osprey packs are made from durable recycled fabrics, while all feature PFC-free water-repellent coatings.
