Field Hatchet

Colour: Brown/Black

The perfect camp axe

Along with a folding saw, a good axe is one of the most useful tools for camp or backyard. It’s obviously essential for splitting firewood and kindling, but also comes in handy for a multitude of other outdoor tasks. With a trusty hatchet you can build natural shelters, make simple camp furniture and tackle all sorts of other bushcraft projects. When it comes to forestry, a small hatchet can also be very useful for clearing fallen logs or branches from trails and paths or cutting back tangled undergrowth. Barebones’ Field Hatchet is the perfect size and weight for a multitude of such jobs. With a heritage-inspired design, it features a blackened steel tomahawk-style head with a rear poll for hammering. It’s hafted with a handsome hickory handle and is also supplied with a protective sheath. The handle can also be reset, ensuring this little beauty will become a lifelong outdoor companion
