Therm-a-Rest

The better you rest, the better you play. Simple really. That’s the realisation that three climbers came to back in 1971, when they got fed up with restless nights ruining their mountain adventures. And after several early engineering experiments with a foam gardening pad, the Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad was born: the world’s first self-inflating air mat.

Ever since, the brand has made better and better mats, pillows and sleep systems in order to provide essential rest and even life-preserving warmth to some of the world’s greatest adventurers. But just as importantly, Therm-a-Rest products have also added a dose of welcome comfort for campers everywhere, encouraging more people to discover the magic of nights in the great outdoors.
