When the designers at Filson came across a super-warm vintage union suit, they couldn't resist trying to create an equivalent garm for the 21st-century outdoorsman. Constructed in a wool/polyester blend, the Keyport long-sleeved Henley is seriously heavyweight for a base layer – but that's why it's so versatile. In really frosty climes, the hefty, slightly coarse-textured 10.5oz fabric makes for a highly insulating first layer even when it's damp, while in milder weather, the Keyport is great as a light sweater. It's a commonly accepted fact that any men's top looks at least 400% more manly with a buttoned Henley neck, and the wide rib-knit cuffs fulfil a dual purpose of upping the insulating qualities and looking really rugged pushed up.
