The Heroes range from Amundsen Sports is a homage to those rugged golden-age adventurers who stamped their mark on Norwegian history. Featuring undyed natural wool and vintage looks, this Heroes wool fleece riffs off the same lines as Amundsen's bestselling Heroes turtleneck – and boasts the same distinctive chest pocket in waxed cotton/linen. Perfect for your map, phone and compass. The fabric on the Heroes fleece is a fluffy Sherpa Wool blend (55% virgin wool, 45% polyester), and the men's model has cosy kangaroo hand pockets on the front. Up top, the hood is cut a bit roomier than some of Amundsen's other models, and there's a chunky old-school button closure to protect against the wind

Amundsen clothing is named after one of the greatest explorers ever to walk the Earth. No pressure there then. In fact, the company’s co-founder, Jørgen Amundsen, is a relative of the legendary man himself, and the brand’s designs are based on classic styles from the golden age of exploration. Throw in a generous dash of 1960s Nordic ski resort chic and you’ve got a unique range of good-looking kit that’ll get you noticed in all the right ways.
