Amundsen love dredging up heritage styles from the golden age of exploration, so it was only a matter of time before they brought back the half-placket pop-over shirt. It's an early 20th-century military classic, but they've tinkered with the design to make it more practical for the modern wilderness ranger. The fabric is a rugged garment-dyed needle cord that looks great straight out of the box, with double-layered fabric at the elbows. They've cut the corduroy with a dash of stretch to make it more supple, and a sneaky side zip makes it that bit easier to sling it on. Roomy breast pockets on the Ranger shirt will hold a handful of rounds for your elk rifle, or perhaps just a bar of Kendal mint cake

Amundsen clothing is named after one of the greatest explorers ever to walk the Earth. No pressure there then. In fact, the company’s co-founder, Jørgen Amundsen, is a relative of the legendary man himself, and the brand’s designs are based on classic styles from the golden age of exploration.
