Sometimes it’s the small changes that make big differences, something Mystery Ranch were clearly thinking about when they redesigned and relaunched their Scree range of packs. Laser focused on providing a streamlined top of the range trail and summit pack, they’ve kept all the key features including the iconic 3-zip opening for easy access to your kit, space for a hydration bladder, tool loops and bundles of compression straps. The real magic is in the new X Grid 500D fabric which is incredibly durable, lightweight, and also pretty eyecatching (though if that’s not your thing, the Black colour is a bit more toned down). There’s a 22 Litre version for shorter jaunts out on the trail and a larger capacity 33 Litre version for bigger days which features a height adjustable yoke and aluminium frame to keep you comfy if you’re carrying extra weight.
