Perfect companion for creatives

The best ideas come in many forms. Sometimes it’s a written thought, sometimes it’s a sketch or diagram. If you’re a creative thinker who likes a little freedom on the page, Rhodia’s classic Webnotebook – endearingly called the ‘Webbie’ – will be a revelation. With 96 sheets of premium 90gsm ivory paper housed in a modern hardcover, it offers plenty of space to record everyday notes and strokes of genius alike. And rather than being blank, ruled or squared, the pages use Rhodia’s innovative dot matrix system: grey geometric dots spaced 5mm apart that provide a subtle guide for notes and sketches. The dots are invisible when xeroxed or scanned, yet give you the freedom of blank paper plus the guidelines of grid paper, without the obstructions of lined paper. It’s basically the best of all worlds – or should that be words?

    • 96 sheets of pH neutral, acid-free ivory paper
    • Unique dot matrix print: the creative alternative to grid squares or ruled lines
    • Faux leather hardcover
    • Ribbon bookmark
    • Elastic closure
    • Available in A5 or A4 size
    • Inner pocket for notes and cards
    • Elegant round corners
    • Made in France
  • Clairefontaine, responsible for all paper found in Rhodia, is the only European manufacturer making its own paper for its products.

Local manufacturing - Rhodia notebooks are 100% made in France, as they always have been.

Ethically Sourced Materials - Clairefontaine make their paper from pulp and wood by-products from PEFC-certified sustainable forests.

Eco Manufacturing - Clairefontaine self-supply 80% of the energy they use, and have put in place an advanced water recycling method (that makes the River Meurthe water cleaner than when it got to the mill). They also convert waste from water treatment plant into agricultural compost.

  • Rhodia pads are an icon of modern French design. Established in 1934 in Lyon by two paper-making brothers, the brand’s first notebooks immediately drew acclaim for their quality materials and striking orange covers. Today, Rhodia is still known for its exacting standards and timeless design, and the pads are still manufactured in France, just as they always have been.
