The Beacon Lantern is inspired by two classic lights of old – firstly, traditional fisherman’s ‘onion lamps’, named for their distinctive shape, and secondly, the traditional coal miner’s lamp, vital bits of kit for those working deep underground in pits and quarries. This modern reinterpretation is just as tough and versatile, but considerably safer. A high-quality LED emits up to 220 lumens, while a rechargeable battery gives up to 200 hours of light on the lowest setting, or 3 hours on maximum brightness. It also has a smooth dimming feature, a sturdy base and a carabiner top so it can be hung in a tent, tree or anywhere else where you need illumination. The Beacon also comes with a USB charging cable and has an in-built battery life indicator, ensuring you'll never be left in the dark
