At Filson, they like to call a spade a spade. Which is not surprising for a brand that's spent well over a century equipping no-nonsense types like lumberjacks, gold prospectors and Alaskan hunters. So yes, the 48-hour duffel is ideal as a weekend travel bag – but it also makes a fantastic work satchel, tool bag or general everyday workhorse. It's constructed in Filson's famous 14oz oil-finish tin cloth, which is weather-resistant and insanely durable. The lining is 6oz dry-finish cover cloth, and the top-grade bridle leather handles are long enough to sling over your shoulder. There's a dedicated webbing shoulder strap too, which is adjustable and removable for streamlined travel. The 34.5-litre capacity is spread across a roomy main compartment and external zip pockets with organiser slips, while the luggage pass-through strap lets you pop it on top of a wheely suitcase if you're heading overseas.
