The CFX5 25 is Dometic's most compact compressor coolbox – but despite its compact 25-litre size, it still delivers cold that actually means cold. Not "slightly cool after three hours in a warm car" cold. Proper, consistent, fridge-temperature cold. It gets there via a clever combination of vacuum insulated panels and a variable-speed compressor that adjusts output automatically to maintain temperature. Highly efficient low power consumption means it’ll run off a standard 12V vehicle socket. Bluetooth app connectivity means you can monitor and adjust temperature from your phone, while the weatherproof TFT colour display handles things on the ground. A removable lid, interior LED lighting, wire basket, built-in bottle opener, and folding alloy handles round out an impressively considered package. Holds 40 cans or five 1.5L bottles, and operates in ambient temperatures up to a scorching 43°C – which you're unlikely to encounter in the UK, but is good to know nonetheless.
