A synthetic version of Sierra Designs’ bestselling Cloud series down bags, the Night Cap employs the same innovative zipperless construction to give you the feeling of nestling down for a night in your bed, rather than squeezing into a sleeping bag. An oversized insulated blanket flap gives you all the comforts of home and a shaped shoulder pocket ensures it stays in place all night long, stopping any draughts. But if you find yourself getting too warm, then there’s a self-sealing foot vent to cool your toes, or just stick an arm out of the top while keeping the rest of your body toasty. An integrated sleeve for your sleeping mat also stops it from slipping around underneath you. Filled with premium fully recycled synthetic insulation, the women’s Night Cap 20F is designed to keep you warm even when temperatures dip down to -6°C.
Sustainability through Longevity: Lifetime warranty from Sierra Designs
Maybe it’s no wonder that the state of California has been the cradle for so many great American outdoor brands. Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Nevada mountains, and encompassing no less than nine US National Parks, the Golden State has long been a mecca for outdoor adventurers of every ilk. Sierra Designs is a case in point. California was the natural place for the brand’s co-founders, a pair of young outdoor aficionados named George Marks and Bob Swanson, to set up shop.
They first met in late 1963 at while working at The Ski Hut in Berkeley, CA. Two years later, Sierra Designs was born. Today, the brand continues to create outdoor equipment and apparel that is functional, beautiful, and most importantly, attainable, enabling outdoor lovers throughout the USA and beyond to hit the trail and fill their souls with a sense of wanderlust.
