Here's a jacket that knows what it wants to be when it grows up. The Workwear Overdye Jacket takes everything that's good about classic workwear – the durability, the straightforward functionality, the honest construction – and gives it just enough contemporary polish to make it work beyond the workshop. That wool mix body lining isn't just for show; it's there to keep you comfortable when the temperature drops, while the heavy enzyme stone wash gives the whole thing a lived-in character that'll only get better with age. The metal branded snap hem and cuff adjusters are those little details that separate proper gear from the stuff that falls apart after a season. Whether you're tinkering with bikes in a parky old garage or just need something reliable for daily wear, this jacket's got the versatility to handle whatever you can throw at it.
Deus runs slightly bigger so we would recommend sizing down from your usual size. Oversized styles run two sizes bigger than your usual size.

How to measure?
What do you get when you cross a legendary surfwear entrepreneur with a serious motorcycle addiction and a healthy disregard for tribal boundaries? Well, you get Deus ex Machina – the brand that's been proving since 2006 that there's no rule saying you can't love both the roar of a café racer and the whisper of a perfect barrel.
Founded by Dare Jennings (he of iconic surf brand Mambo), Deus started life as a custom motorbike workshop and coffee house in the Sydney suburb of Camperdown. The radical idea? Instead of shoehorning people into outdoor tribes – bikers, surfers, skaters, cyclists or whatever – why not just celebrate whatever gets you fired up? Their workshop soon transformed into a ‘run-what-you-brung’ social and creative space, known locally as the ‘Temple of Enthusiasm’.
From those early days of engine oil, freshly brewed coffee and dawn raids on the Pacific Ocean, Deus has grown into a global phenomenon. Their clothing captures that same anything-goes spirit – sun-bleached graphics that look like they've survived their fair share of backroad adventures, vintage-inspired cuts that work equally well on the beach or in the workshop, and a lived-in aesthetic that’s catnip to the adventurous. Because at the end of the day, whether you’re into one particular outdoor activity or all of them – as Deus would say, ‘it's all the same juice’.
