The high-crown, six-panel shape will be familiar to anyone who's worn a trucker cap – the difference here is that Filson have done away with the mesh back and made the whole thing from 15-oz. waxed cotton canvas. Less breathability, but a whole heap more weather protection: a straightforward trade-off that makes a lot of sense when the rain's coming in sideways. Embroidered eyelets still give you a degree of ventilation, and the leather and brass hardware is nice and robust. Ideal for outdoor workers and anyone who values toughness and weather-resistance, it’s the kind of cap that’ll only look better the more you dirty it up.
