We're big fans of Helinox's packable camp tables. Partly that's because they're actually table-height – unlike most camp tables which seem to have been designed for five-year-olds. The Table Four is their largest model, designed for group meals and late-night card games by the light of a storm lantern. Big enough for at least four people, it's extremely hard-wearing, constructed in recycled 600D polyester with aluminium alloy poles and proprietary resin hubs. It's quick to put up and locks securely into place for a stable platform that'll take loads of up to 50kg. When the party's over (alas), it collapses down to an impressively compact 71 x 21 x 8cm zip case and weighs in at just 4.7kg.
