If you’ve ever let a candle burn out and just… not relit it, this is the fix. Earl of East’s reed diffuser needs nothing from you beyond the odd flip of the reeds, and it’ll keep working away in the background for weeks at a time. No flame, no watching it, no faff — just steady scent doing its job on a shelf or windowsill. Hand-blended in East London since 2014, and available in various scents, you’re sure to find one that suits your space.

      • Runs flame-free for a steady scent that fits into everyday life
      • Includes 8 reeds so you can adjust the strength to the room
      • Lasts around 8–12 weeks depending on reed use and conditions
      • Alcohol-free formulation
      • Recyclable amber glass bottle, made in London
      • Key notes: tuberose, blackberry leaf, bergamot and cade
      • Warm, floral and atmospheric
      • How to use:
        • Insert the reeds into the bottle and allow them to absorb the fragrance. Use fewer reeds for a softer scent throw, or all reeds for stronger diffusion.
        • Flip the reeds after the first hour, then every few days to refresh the scent. Avoid flipping too often, as this can shorten the life of your diffuser.
        • Place on a stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, polished surfaces and painted surfaces.
      • Ingredients: Alcohol-free diffuser base (IPG), fragrance oils, dipropylene glycol (DPG). All fragrance oils are IFRA-compliant and non-toxic. Contains: Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Geraniol, Citronellol
      • Cautions: Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves/eye protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with regional regulations.
      • Made Locally — Made in UK
    • Scent is our most powerful sense. That’s the core belief at the heart of Earl of East, founded back in 2014 as a market stall in East London. It has since expanded to include four stores across the city, offering a line of carefully curated home fragrances.

Creative, collaborative and community-driven, the company is about far more than just selling candles though. Visit an Earl of East store and you might walk straight into a perfume-making workshop or find yourself in conversation with fellow fragrance fans over freshly brewed coffee.

Scents are inspired by global travel, drawing on nature’s most evocative and exotic trees, herbs and flowers – from the mighty cedars of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains to the ancient vineyards and garden terraces of the Greek islands. Using a mix of naturally derived essential oils and botanical fragrance oils, all ingredients are ethically sourced and fully traceable to origin.

Similarly, all Earl of East candles are hand poured in East London and made using eco-soy (non-GMO) wax, which ensures the candles burn slower and last longer. Suppliers are ethically certified, ensuring that materials do not contribute to deforestation and respect the rights of workers and indigenous people. Wicks are made from eco certified cotton and unbleached linen, so your candle shouldn’t smoke or create a large flame. The candles are also vegan, Halal and kosher. Meanwhile, incense cones are made using wood and bamboo sticks scented with essential oils. All materials used are vegan, non-GMO, paraben free and cruelty free.
