The Mojito GTX is as gorpcore as it comes, and we're all over it. It's got the low-profile silhouette and down-to-toe lacing of a climbing shoe, but really it's a supremely comfortable and versatile everyday shoe that'll do you from town to trail. It's waterproof too, with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that lets your feet breathe. The Vibram Spider Trek sole is grippy enough for scree slopes and skiddy tarmac, and the rubber toecap and mini-rand beef up potential weak points. As well as looking cool, obviously…

      • Climbing shoe-style lacing down to the toe for a precise, customisable fit
      • GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining – waterproof and breathable
      • Vibram Spider Trek outsole for grip on trail and pavement
      • EVA midsole for cushioning and shock absorption
      • Full suede upper with protective rubber toe cap and mini rand
      • Comes with two sets of laces
      • Weight: 390g (½ pair, size 42)

      • Sustainability through longevity - SCARPA designs all its products to be resolable and repairable, extending the life of each pair and reducing resource consumption and waste — because the best contribution to sustainability is a product that lasts.
      • Closing the loop on footwear - Through the LIFE Re-Shoes project, SCARPA collects worn shoes from consumers, breaks them down into secondary raw materials, and uses them to produce new pairs — turning end-of-life footwear into a new beginning.
    • Ask a Himalayan mountaineer, a polar researcher or a high-altitude guide what brand of footwear they've got on, and there's a good chance it'll be Scarpa.

Founded in 1938 in Asolo, a small town at the foot of the Italian Dolomites, Scarpa has spent the best part of a century making footwear that people trust with their lives. These are kicks with incredible pedigree. In the 80s, their famous Vega boots went to the top of all fourteen of the world's 8,000-metre peaks, and plenty more besides. Antarctic science stations rely on them, and Italian Alpine guides have been officially shod in Scarpa since the 1960s. Over 90% of production still takes place in Europe, and more than half their products are still made in Italy.

At the lighter end of the Scarpa range are their trail runners and approach shoes, designed for fast and flexible adventures. Low-profile and nimble, they borrow from Scarpa's climbing shoe heritage to give you real grip and sensitivity across rock and mud, while staying comfortable enough for long days on the trail.

From crampon-compatible boots right through to their lightest trail shoes, Scarpa's footwear has a cast-iron reputation for fantastic fit and comfort straight out of the box.
