The Iwano 2 is a waterproof trainer from playful-yet-functional Japanese brand, Flower Mountain. You've got their signature bold colourways and premium fabric combos, but with a waterproof inner membrane for wet-weather confidence. The upper mixes suede with technical fabric, and there's a Vibram Megagrip sole underneath for serious traction on skiddy surfaces. Add in quick-stop lace adjusters, leather lining, and an antibacterial cork insole that moulds to your feet over time, and you've got a bold outdoor trainer that gives you comfort and style without soggy socks.
These trainers fit true to size. If you're between sizes, we'd suggest sizing up.

Flower Mountain makes high-performance outdoor footwear, dressed up in bold Japanese colour palettes and unexpected fabric combos. Founded in 2015 by two outdoorsy pals – Keisuke Ota from Tokyo and Yang Chao from Beijing – the brand name came from a hike up Mount Fuji, where the pair stumbled across a field of dandelions blooming through the mist. That blend of delicate and rugged, aesthetic and technical, gave them a 'bing' sort of lightbulb moment, and Flower Mountain was born.
Specialising in trainers, their build quality is really impressive. Think Vibram outsoles from the hiking world; cork insoles that mould to your feet over time; leather linings for breathability, and Japanese fabrics that age beautifully and resist fading. These aren't fashion kicks that you're supposed to clean with a bleachy toothbrush after every outing – they're built for heavy wear and year-on-year adventures.
We reckon they're the footwear equivalent of a colourful Buff – a pop of personality that elevates your outdoor duds without compromising on function.
