This is VAGA's fully waterproof option – properly sealed seams, coated fabric, the works – designed for runners who call an extended high-level loop in horizontal rain ‘an interesting day out’. Despite being completely waterproof, it's surprisingly breathable thanks to an open-pore padded headband that wicks moisture from the inside while keeping everything else on the outside. The adjustable coarse-grip strap means you can tighten it down when the wind picks up, and it's still light enough to pack away when conditions improve. Available in black and charcoal for looking moody on ridgelines, or dark teal if you want people to actually spot you through the clag. Either way, you're staying dry.
