We've been selling the Bergler boot for a while now, and we love its mix of traditional styling and hand-crafted build quality. But check this out – Hanwag have cut it down to shoe height, and we kinda like it even more. It still features Hanwag's famous double-stitched sole, and it runs the same Vibram Tessin wedge sole as its heavier sibling – with a grippy tread pattern that holds you steady on rock and mud. Peek inside and the robust nubuck upper is leather-lined for comfort, just like a mountain boot. As a shoe, though, it's a lot more versatile, and we can see ourselves wearing these around town as well as on the hill.

How to measure foot size correctly
You will need: socks, a sheet of paper, a ruler, and a pen
Important: Measure both your feet, because most people have one foot that is bigger than the other. Your shoe size is determined using the longest of the two measurements.
Important: In our size chart, the extra space you need in front of your toes is already calculated into the millimetre figures.
