There’s nothing quite like the feel and character of well worn-in utility canvas. Unfortunately, most workwear fabric starts out stiff as a board, and the break-in can take literally years of hard use. Duer's Stretch Canvas Cargo Short solves the problem by adding stretch and softness into the weave from the get-go – without sacrificing on durability. The relaxed fit through the hip and thigh means you're not fighting the fabric every time you bend down, and the slimline cargo pockets let you stash your stuff without flapping about like it’s the 90s. Made with Duer's signature athletic gusset for free movement, they're built for days when you need something altogether more rugged than your lightweight hiking shorts – think loading the van for a week away, tackling a muddy mosh pit at a summer festival, or just pottering on the allotment.

DUER set up shop in 2013 intent on bridging the gap between fashion and functional clothing. With 25 years making jeans for big names like Levi Strauss and a new love of cycling, Gary Lenett saw an opportunity for purposeful fashion that didn’t exist on the market. He partnered with Abid Hafeez, a performance fabric expert with over 25 years of experience with technical brands, and DUER was born. Today, all of their garments are manufactured in a factory in Lahore, Pakistan owned by DUER’s founders, who ensure ethical working conditions for their employees.
