The Wide 5 is Stan Ray's widest five-pocket denim – the maximum expression of the roomy, vintage-workwear-inspired silhouette the brand has always favoured. But wide doesn't mean casual about construction: you still get bar-tacked stress points, a triple-needle back yoke, riveted front pockets, and spade-style back pockets with a Stan Ray woven patch label. This is a proper pair of jeans that happens to have a lot of room in ’em. In raw denim, the fabric will develop its own fade pattern over time, breaking in at the stress points and creasing exactly where you bend. Basically, the kind of jeans that get better the longer you wear them.
| Size | Waist | Inside Leg | Leg Opening |

| 30 | 78.7cm | 72.4cm | 25.4cm |

Stan Ray has been making workwear in Crockett, Texas since 1972 – and in over fifty years the philosophy hasn't shifted much. Minimum fuss. Maximum practicality. Clothes built for use rather than for looking at. Take the OG Painter Pant for example, which made the brand's reputation: a proper work trouser with triple chain-stitched seams, bar-tacked stress points, hammer loop and utility pockets: all designed for people who knew the meaning of a hard day’s work.
That heritage runs through everything Stan Ray makes – functional silhouettes, rugged construction, practical fabrics that only get better with age. Today, the range has found a second audience among people who appreciate exactly that kind of no-nonsense thinking: workwear done right, with cuts that have accidentally ended up right on trend.
