A climbing pack for long days at the crag
Sport climbing has a habit of turning into an all-day mission – route after route, shoes on and off, chalk everywhere – and the Affinity 42 is built around exactly that chaos. It's roomy enough for a full day's kit, and the roll-top adds another 10 litres of extra capacity when you inevitably bring too much. A rear zip gets you into the main compartment without unpacking everything from the top, while four compression straps, a daisy chain and two material loops give you plenty of ways to lash on extra gear. There's a dedicated pocket for climbing shoes and chalk so they don't end up mixed in with your lunch, and the load control cords double as an external rope fastening for the walk-in.
