There are many field or picnic blankets out there, but not many single person versions. Yet a small, individually sized sit mat makes the perfect perch for rest stops when you’re out walking or for kneeling on around the campfire. That’s why we love this Roamers Roll. Lightweight and portable, it rolls away for convenient carry and secures with an integrated tan leather strap and press-stud closure. The underside is made from super-durable, waterproof waxed cotton canvas, while the top is made from insulating and hard-wearing wool. The deluxe version boasts inner padding for extra comfort. It’s a high-quality, long-lasting alternative to a cheap foam pad. Lay it on the ground, on a damp log or tree stump, or anywhere else you might want to perch without getting wet, dirty or muddy.

The Roamers Roll is based on an original design by Moorswood for their Ramblers Roll, which will soon be available for comparison and sale on WildBounds. The Roamers Roll has a few differences and offers a slightly more cost-effective alternative to a Moorswood product.
