Stylish dual burner camping stove

Can a camping stove really be stylish? We didn’t think so, until we met Onja. The folding design is made from powder-coated steel, with a genuine oak top, a G-1000 fabric base and a sturdy webbing carry strap finished with brass and leather details. It makes a gorgeous addition to any glamping setup, family picnic or ‘slow adventure’ canoeing trip. But there’s substance as well as style here – the base expands to create a stable cooking surface, while the two burners can be adjusted individually and can boil a litre of water in less than four minutes. Each burner connects directly to a gas canister, delivering up to 2800W of power. They’re neatly hidden from view behind a fabric side panel made of durable G-1000 polycotton, which detaches for easy cleaning. The oak lid can also be used as a cutting board or serving platter when in food prep mode. And the integrated strap makes Onja easy to carry from car to campground or canoe to camp spot

    • Integrated carry strap for hands-free transport
    • For use with standard threaded (Lindal valve) gas canisters
    • Gas canister attaches directly to each burner, allowing you to cook multiple pots at different temperatures. Two canisters required in order to use both burners
    • Base extends to become a stable cooking foundation that protects the burners from the wind
    • Detachable base fabric made of G-1000 polycotton is easy to clean

  • In Latin, the word ‘primus’ means ‘first’. And this Swedish brand has been about firsts ever since its humble beginnings in Stockholm back in 1892, when founders F.W. Lindqvist and J.V. Svenson developed the world’s first soot-free kerosene stove. Portable Primus stoves were cleaner, easier to use and more efficient than anything else then in existence. They were soon adopted by explorers and adventurers across the globe. When Amundsen became the first person to reach the South Pole in 1911, he had a Primus stove with him. So too did the 1953 British Mount Everest Expedition, when Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary became the first people to reach the summit of the world’s highest peak.

Since those ground-breaking firsts, Primus’ range has expanded to encompass a range of outdoor cooking equipment. Of course, portable stoves built for backpackers, campers and climbers are still the brand’s core focus. Designed to withstand extreme conditions, Primus stoves have an enviable reputation for long-lasting reliability and real-world efficiency. So, if you’re looking to achieve your own firsts, whether that’s walking your first long-distance trail or going on your first wild camping adventure, Primus should be your first choice.

I love this stove. It's really easy to carry and has such a beautiful design.
