'Odd Terry' sounds like a bloke who used to sit in the corner of the Bricklayer's Arms, scouring the Racing Post for coded messages from the Illuminati. When you get past that, however – and accept that Odd is a perfectly standard Norwegian first name – you realise that this is actually a brilliant vintage-inspired terrycloth jumper. Manufactured in a velvety soft cotton-polyester blend and garment-dyed in soft, summery shades, the Odd is a charismatic and comfortable throwback to the best of the 1970s. Amundsen Sports is named after one of the greatest explorers ever to walk the Earth. No pressure there then. In fact, the company’s co-founder, Jørgen Amundsen, is a relative of the legendary man himself, and the brand’s designs are based on classic styles from the golden age of exploration.
