National Parks nostalgia with your morning coffee

If you’ve ever been lucky enough to visit one of the USA’s most famous National Parks, like Yosemite, Yellowstone, Zion, Glacier, Olympic, Crater Lake or the Grand Canyon, these colourful ceramic mugs are sure to evoke nostalgic memories of epic adventures and stunning landscapes. Even if you haven’t made it there yet, their bold colours, bright stripes and vintage park labels will still brighten up your morning – and maybe inspire you to plan a trip stateside. Sturdy and generously sized, these ceramic mugs are also big enough to handle even the strongest, largest slug of black coffee. Supplied in a gift box, they make great presents or collectors’ items

    • Design evokes Pendleton’s iconic National Park blankets, with a label inspired by window decals given to US park visitors back in the 1920s
    • Generous 18 fl oz (532 ml) capacity
    • Each mug measures 4½" high
    • Dishwasher and microwave safe
    • Supplied with gift box
    • Global Initiatives & Certifications - Pendleton Woolen Mills, Inc. endorses the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) principles
    • Sustainability through Longevity - All Pendleton products are made to highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, and many items (including their blankets) are heirloom pieces than will last for generation with care
  • The history of Pendleton Woollen Mills is a tale that is woven into the history of modern America. It is a story that began over 150 years ago, with the entrepreneurial spirit of British weaver Thomas Kay.

Kay reopened the historic Pendleton Woollen Mill, which produced trade blankets for the Native American tribes of the Columbia River and the Southwest. Initially, the company emulated the multicolour striped patterns of the famous point blankets produced by the Hudson’s Bay Company. But after designer Joe Rawnsley visited the Navajo, Hopi and Zuni tribes, they pioneered the introduction of stunning Native American-inspired designs, which became coveted and much-prized heirloom pieces.

Today, Pendleton continues to set the standard for American style. With six generations of family ownership, its textiles are infused with authenticity, heritage and craftsmanship – all still proudly designed and woven in the USA.

First, these are beautiful. Second, they hold a lot of coffee (a must for me).
