A go-anywhere, do-anything dress from Japan

Mount Tanigawa, aka Snow Peak, is less than 2000m high but one of the most challenging winter climbs in Japan. It’s this mountain that Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, took as his inspiration when, in 1958, he created his own line of climbing gear. Now, headed by his granddaughter, Lisa Yamai, Snow Peak has branched out into clothing which, while casual enough for every day, still has a bit of that outdoorsy practicality at its heart. This simple, demure polo dress is one such thing with its loose straight cut and midi length giving a chic, distinctive silhouette while being comfortable and robust enough to wear out on walks, gardening or while getting creative. With a classical minimalist look and neutral colours, it’s timeless, chic and you can wear it comfortably anywhere – perfect

  • Snow Peak's journey began in 1958, when the founder Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, created his own line of superior climbing gear. Snow Peak then looked to evolve by shifting its focus from the mountaineering equipment of the past to the camping equipment of the future. Fueled by the booming national interest in auto-camping sweeping across Japan, Snow Peak released a series of radically innovative products which focused on quality, functionality, timeless-durability and considered design.
