You know those bags that look like they've wandered in from a different decade? The Velo-Sling Flex Cyber is exactly that – except it's brought all of Ortlieb's bombproof engineering with it. The magnetic-mechanical closure is the real party trick here. That satisfying snap when the magnets find each other means you can seal the bag one-handed – perfect when you're holding your bike steady or carrying shopping in the other hand. The PU-coated nylon fabric and roll-top design keep everything properly waterproof, not just "light shower proof". Inside there's a zippered mesh compartment for the bits you'll actually need to find in a hurry.
Mounting uses O-straps rather than a bracket – quick to fit, works with most handlebar shapes, and you can detach the bag in seconds when you park up. The three-point strap keeps things stable when you're riding, and there's an integrated strap clamp on the detachable shoulder strap so it doesn't flap about whilst you're pedalling. Volume extension straps let you lash down extra kit or cinch things tight. Mount it using the included O-straps and foam spacers, with an extra rubber band to stop any wobbling on rough roads. The detachable shoulder strap stows neatly when you're riding, and there's a zippered inner pocket for your keys or wallet. Daisy chains on the outside let you lash down a jacket or secure the contents when you've overpacked (we've all been there).
