Tried-and-tested headlamp for hikers, campers and backpackers

Need one lamp to light up all your adventures? Look no further than Petzl’s much-loved Tikka. Simple and compact, this practical headlamp offers up to 350 lumens of brightness and a wide-ranging flood beam. That makes it well-suited to camping and hiking, whether you’re a little late back to the car from your summit push or find yourself pitching your tent in the fading dusk. The headband’s phosphorescent reflector helps you find it in the dark – ideal if you’re snuggled up in your sleeping bag when nature calls in the early hours of the morning. The red light mode prevents you from blinding your hiking buddies too. And though the Tikka is supplied with 3 standard AAA batteries, it is also compatible with the Petzl Core rechargeable battery, which is a great option for more regular users.

  • Compact and lightweight, with 350 lumens max output and overall weight of only 94 g
  • Wide, uniform beam so you can comfortably see up-close or at your feet
  • Three white lighting levels: MAX BURN TIME, STANDARD (better power/burn time balance) and MAX POWER
  • Continuous red lighting to preserve night vision without blinding those around you, and strobe to signal your location, especially in emergency situations
  • Single button for quick and easy selection of brightness or light color
  • Plate allows you to easily orient the lamp in desired direction
  • Battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time lamp is turned on or off
  • Useful phosphorescent reflector for locating the lamp in the dark
  • LOCK function prevents the lamp from turning on during transit or storage
  • Detachable, washable headband that is symmetrical for easy adjustment
  • Storage pouch allows it to be transformed into a lantern
  • HYBRID CONCEPT design: TIKKA® comes with 3 AAA/LR03 batteries and is also compatible with the CORE rechargeable battery (not included); it automatically detects the energy source and adjusts lighting performance

Supports Eco Initiatives - The Petzl Foundation supports non-profit organizations whose role is to discover and protect biodiversity on cliffs, in caves and in mountain ranges

As a brand, Petzl was born in the darkness. Their story began with founder Fernand Petzl’s passion for caving, back in the mid-1930s. Out of that passion, Petzl started to design innovative solutions for ascending, descending, belaying and moving about underground. This included pioneering headlamps and rope safety equipment. But alpinists soon discovered that what worked below the earth also worked above it, and Petzl kit was quickly co-opted by climbers, mountaineers and skiers.

Today, Petzl remains one of the leading technical brands in all these fields, still devoted to one mission: to access the inaccessible. The product range is split into two core categories: lighting – which includes some of the world’s most advanced head torches; and verticality – highly technical equipment designed for those venturing into the world’s loftiest mountain ranges as well as the globe’s deepest, darkest places.
