The swingin’ camp chair
Imagine the take-anywhere practicality of a camping chair crossed with the pure comfort of a gently swinging hammock. Well, NEMO didn’t just imagine it, they invented it. With the Stargaze Camp Chair, you can sit back, relax and rock gently back and forth as you soak up the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. With the latest model, a more intuitive pole design cuts down on setup time for fast, fuss-free assembly. A redesigned upper section more comfortably accommodates broad shoulders and gives you more elbow room, while a larger padded headrest extends well beyond the backrest, making things more supportive for taller campers. You may never want to get up again.

The idea of NEMO was born one turbulent night on the side of Mount Washington while Cam Brensinger spent a sleepless five hours in a poorly designed bivy. That night he realised how much opportunity there was for thoughtful design as part of the equation of enjoying adventure. And, coming down off the mountain the next day, he resolved to tackle that challenge. Three days after graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, he founded NEMO Equipment.
