Studded rubber feet for pavement and tarmac
Carbide tips are brilliant on trail, but on tarmac they're noisy and tend to skate about – rather defeating the point of walking with poles in the first place. These vulcanised rubber pads from LEKI feature little carbide spikes for silent traction, and the rounded shape promotes a rolling motion that stops you hammering your joints. They’ll fit pretty much any Leki pole in seconds, so bung a pair in your trekking backpack and make those pesky road-walking stretches a smidge easier.
