The world’s best riff?

What’s the world’s best riff? Back in Black by AC/DC? Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Goode? Led Zep’s Whole Lotta Love? Satisfaction by the Stones? Well, they’re all great to rock out to, but nothing that Angus, Chuck, Jimmy or Keef can play will keep you as warm as this performance 800 fill power down bag from NEMO. Constructed in recycled fabrics, the women's Riff 30 offers a similar comfortable spoon shape to NEMO’s other bags, but in a more athletic cut – designed for side sleepers who prefer space-saving packability and lower weight. This is the lighter weight version for milder conditions, but there's also a warmer 3-season model available. Despite its minimal bulk, this bag is loaded with features, including Thermo Gills that help regulate temperature during the night, a newly improved Blanket Fold draught collar that provides tucked-in comfort, and a waterproof/breathable hood and footbox to withstand tent condensation. The down insulation is ethically sourced, and has also been treated with a water-repellent coating to improve performance on damp camps. Rock on.

  • Recycled Materials: this sleeping bag uses recycled polyester
  • Ethically Sourced Materials: Down is considered by many to be nature’s best insulator, with high-loft clusters that keep heat from escaping your sleeping bag, jacket or blanket. But the story behind conventional down is ugly, which is why NEMO use down that is 100% Responsible Down Standard certified. This standard ensures their down is completely traceable back to its source–ducks and geese that have been treated humanely, never force fed, and never live-plucked.
  • Endless Promise®: Nemo takes responsibility for the entire life cycle of this product to keep it out of the landfill. Each item in the Endless Promise collection is painstakingly engineered for total recyclability. That way, once this gear has accompanied you on its lifetime of adventures, it can easily become something new.
  • Sustainability Through Longevity: Designed to last a lifetime and protected by the NEMO Lifetime Warranty.
  • Eco-Manufacturing: NEMO believes in working side-by-side with other companies who share their supply chain, banding their efforts together at a pre-competitive level to solve challenges and remove harmful chemicals from the supply chain.

The idea of NEMO was born one turbulent night on the side of Mount Washington while Cam Brensinger spent a sleepless five hours in a poorly designed bivy. That night he realised how much opportunity there was for thoughtful design as part of the equation of enjoying adventure. And, coming down off the mountain the next day, he resolved to tackle that challenge. Three days after graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, he founded NEMO Equipment.
