Cosy warmth that’s good for the soul

Whether you lie on it, under it, or wear it like the world’s most comfortable poncho, Atlantic’s Recycled Wool Blanket keeps your comfort levels up and your environmental impact down. The durable alternative to their hyper-popular Recycled Cotton Blanket, this cosy woollen shawl has been designed to outlast all your outdoor escapades — all while being extra friendly on our big, beautiful planet.

  • Made from 50% recycled wool
  • The remaining 50% is comprised of a polyester, wool and viscose blend that adds extra quality and durability
  • 100% made in Britain
  • Wool is naturally breathable, odour-resistant and temperature-regulating
  • Dimensions: 120 x 150 cm
  • Recycled Materials - made from 50% recycled wool
  • Manufactured Locally - Atlantic Blankets make all of their blankets right here in Britain.
  • Sustainability Through Longevity - Atlantic Blankets has forged long-term relations with the UK’s leading mills and makers. These are master craftspersons producing slowly-woven works of stunning quality.

Sustainability and the sea often seem to go hand in hand. Which makes perfect sense – after all, it’s hard to ignore plastic pollution if you see discarded bottles and tangled nylon fishing nets washed up on the beach every day.

That’s why Atlantic Blankets do things differently. This independent, family-run brand is Cornish through and through. Their luxuriously soft collection of blankets and throws are inspired by the ocean and tailor-made for coastal living. But they’re also traditionally woven in England using sustainably sourced, natural fibres, including British wool and recycled cotton. Cosy, comfortable and eco-conscious, these are blankets for those who feel close to the coast in mind, body or spirit.

Our natural wool blankets are best looked after with these simple steps -

  • Shake - give your blanket a good shake outside to remove loose fibres, dirt and dust.
  • Air - airing your blanket outside can help to keep it smelling fresh.
  • Spot clean - to remove stains, use warm water and mild detergent to spot clean as soon as possible.
  • Gently hand wash, or machine wash at 20ºC on a gentle wool cycle, both using a wool friendly detergent.
  • Rinse and spin on the lowest setting. Press excess water out, reshape whilst damp. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat, away from direct sunlight.
