Extra-warm and shrink-resistant
Hoodies, eh? Always so warm and fluffy when you buy them – then they get their first wash, and before you know it they've shrunk two inches in every direction and the fabric's gone flat as a pancake. With their Prospector Hoodie, Filson have solved this problem by blending the tightly woven cotton fleece fabric with 25% polyester for structure and shrink-resistance. Built in a 13oz material that's substantially thicker than your average sweater, the inner surface has a lofted texture to trap heat, while the outside features a smooth, pill-resistant surface. And longevity is important here, because when a hoodie is this warm and comfortable, you'll find yourself living in it year-round.

They believe in their products and stand by the quality of workmanship, craftsmanship and materials in each one. Every Filson product is guaranteed for life against failure or damage in its intended usage.
Over the years, Filson's philosophy has never changed: Make sure it's the absolute best. Clinton Filson spent a lot of time talking to his customers and refining his designs to their specifications.
