Lightweight outer jacket with a seriously clever lining
The shell on this Nomad jacket is lightweight recycled polyester double ripstop with a C0 water-repellent and windproof finish – but look inside and you’ll find an unusual Teijin Octa® lining. Octa is a Japanese polyester fibre engineered with eight hollow projections radiating from a central core – like a teeny tiny octopus – which traps dead air for warmth, wicks moisture through capillary action and makes the fabric around 50% lighter than conventional polyester of similar thickness. You can also wear the brushed side outwards to look more like a fleece.
