Performance carbon folding pole with comfy and versatile grip

The Makalu is a staple of Leki's range, and this Pro FX Carbon version brings performance racing carbon to a folding design with 20cm of telescopic adjustment. At 255g, it's light enough for serious mountain hiking while offering the versatility of adjustable length. The 5-section construction folds down to 41cm for compact packing, with a locking device to make sure the poles don’t collapse accidentally. The Aergon Air grip system is designed to be incredibly comfortable in the hand – with a hollow core to keep the weight down and a large extended grip zone with rubberised and textured surfaces. You’ve got simple, adjustable wrist straps, and the poles come fitted with versatile trekking baskets that you can switch out for snow or mud ones if needs be.
