Classic field jacket built for campfire life

Years ago, Snow Peak noticed that the synthetic shells favoured by most outdoor clothing didn't mix very well with campfires and barbecues – and because they’re Snow Peak, they thought, ‘we’ll fix that’. Their TAKIBI fabric is a spark-resistant blend of Modacrylic and nylon, and after extensive testing around the firepit at our own WildBounds staff gatherings, we really rate it. This version is a military-inspired field jacket with a removable PrimaLoft liner that you can wear on its own – not unlike the classic M-65 jacket. Corduroy panels on the collar and cuffs add comfort where it matters, and the generous pocket layout gives you loads of storage. These guys think of everything, and we’re particularly delighted by the new odour-resistant titanium oxide treatment – handy if you've been standing downwind of a campfire all evening.

  • Titanium oxide nanoparticle treatment for odour neutralisation
  • Corduroy collar and cuff panels
  • Large chest pockets, two-way side pockets and spacious back pocket
  • Military field jacket silhouette
  • TAKIBI shell fabric – flame-resistant Modacrylic/nylon blend
  • Removable PrimaLoft® liner (100% polyester)
  • Shell: 75% Modacrylic / 25% nylon
  • Lining: 100% polyester

  • Sustainability through longevity - Snow Peak products are designed and built to last a lifetime. They submit all of their outdoor hard goods to the highest standards of engineering and testing to ensure long-lasting durability in even the most challenging outdoor conditions. If a product requires service, Snow Peak will repair or exchange it.

Snow Peak's journey began in 1958, when the founder Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, created his own line of superior climbing gear. Snow Peak then looked to evolve by shifting its focus from the mountaineering equipment of the past to the camping equipment of the future. Fueled by the booming national interest in auto-camping sweeping across Japan, Snow Peak released a series of radically innovative products which focused on quality, functionality, timeless-durability and considered design.
