Not only is the shell made of GORE-TEX's latest 2-layer fabric with fully taped seams, but the down itself is water-repellent, so it’ll loft up even when wet. While we’re on the subject of the down fill, there’s no compromises here – they’ve used top-quality 900+ fill power Polish white goose down for the best warmth-to-weight possible. A fine 15D mini-ripstop lining keeps weight down without sacrificing tear resistance, and the jacket is machine washable at home.
