Rugged and weatherproof packable hip pack
Packable bags are a great space-saver for travelling, providing convenient carry for your stuff when you need it, and packing away neatly when you don’t. The problem is, most are pretty flimsy, made from gossamer-thin fabrics that offer little in the way of protection or weatherproofing. Which isn’t great if your bag is getting thrown around on a packed bus, or if it is subjected to a sudden downpour. Matador’s FreeRain hip pack is different. It can pack away into the included palm-sized compression stuff sack, meaning it takes up minimal space in your suitcase or larger rucksack. But it unfolds in less than a minute and gives you up to 4 litres of carrying capacity – perfect for carrying the essentials on city sightseeing trips or other excursions (hey, see more, take a detour, right?). It’s also made from waterproof high-tenacity nylon, with sealing YKK zippers and sealed internal seams for dependable all-weather protection.
