Classic foldsack
With a deceptively simple design and timeless looks, the Fitzroy is a style-forward companion that works brilliantly for day-to-day use or as airline carry-on. But it’s just as versatile, weatherproof and functional as Mission Workshop’s more technical bags. A large zippered internal pouch is great for stashing a laptop, while five other pockets and compartments add versatile organisation for all your essentials. It comes in a range of colours and fabrics, including uber-tough VX21 for maximum resistance to wear and tear. Additional features include Aquaguard YKK zippers and an internal frame sheet for optimal weight distribution.

Mission Workshop was born in San Francisco in 2009, down a nondescript alleyway surrounded by taquerias and dive bars. A small but passionate team spent months being covered in steel splinters, sheet rock dust and mouldy insulation, transforming an old warehouse into a shiny new workspace.
From here, they embarked on a single-minded mission: to fuse timeless design, modern construction and cutting-edge materials in the pursuit of bags and packs built to last a lifetime. In their own words, the workshop was created “out of the desire to build gear as tough as it is beautiful”.
To be fair, those at the heart of the brand have plenty of pedigree in this area. Co-founder Mark Falvai was one of the brains behind technical cycling brand Chrome Industries, whose signature messenger bags have become the bag of choice for pro bike couriers living and working in some of the world’s biggest and busiest cities.
Mission Workshop abides by the same ethos. Their packs come with a promise to dependably get you out and back, time and again, no matter the conditions – and make your day-to-day just that little bit better, whatever the mission.
