Mobile campfire that's the big daddy of the Bushcraft Essentials range
Bushcraft Essentials make incredibly clever wood-burning stoves that pack down flat when not in use, and take moments to set up. You can fuel the Bushbox with sticks, pinecones, charcoal, spirit burners, or even gas – and the unique design will make sure you don't damage the ground underneath. The Bushbox XXL is – as the name might suggest – their biggest model, designed to be used as a sort of mobile campfire. It's got enough pot space to cook for several people, and the sturdy 1.5mm stainless steel won't warp and distort, even if you keep it roaring hot for hours. The trade-off is that it's quite a bit heavier than their other stoves, designed for the van or canoe rather than for backpacking. It includes a heavy-duty canvas storage bag, with space for additional accessories. The stock Bushbox comes with ventilated 'campfire'-style side panels and trivets for settling a pot on top, but if you're going to do a lot of outdoor cooking on it, you might want to consider buying some add-ons like the cooking panel and grill plate.
