The Approach range of mid-layers from Mons Royale are engineered for high-energy activities in alpine conditions. Think ski touring, mountain biking, trail running, or any other pursuit where you're riding yourself hard in frosty conditions. It's made in Merino Shift Fleece – a warm and breathable blended fabric with plenty of stretch for maximum movement. Merino mesh panelling and a full-length zip help vent heat, while the fitted three-piece hood moves with your head. The Approach hoodie is great on its own over a merino tee, with handwarmer pockets for when your digits get chilly. If you're using it as a mid-layer with something heavier over the top, they've deliberately sited the chest pocket higher than usual to make it easier to access through an outer shell.
